Dog’s Games: The Cure For The Common Dog!

Does your pet dog seem bored these days?  He lacks the vim and vigor he used to have as an energetic pup?  He just doesn’t seem to have the same get up and go he did just a year or two ago?  Maybe he just doesn’t seem all that interested in his doggie life lately?  Sure, fetching the paper, barking at squirrels and sniffing other dogs’ behinds can be fun for a while, but when that’s all you do all day it gets pretty old fast.  That’s why you should start playing some dog’s games with your dog.

Trust me, if your dog could talk, he’d be saying “let’s play some dog’s games!”.  But he can’t, and so it fall to me to tell you.  Your doggie wants to get out and have some fun and play some doggie games.  He’s tired of sitting around the house all day, and having the biggest thrill of his life being the short walk outside you take him on to do his business every night.  If that describes the life of your dog, he’s probably bored out of his skull.  There’s not an animal alive that doesn’t like to have some sort of play every now and then.  If you doubt it, just go to a zoo, and you’ll see how inventive animals can be when it comes to thinking of ways to have fun.  And your dog is no different.  He wants and needs to play, and dog’s games are just the ticket to bring back his joie de vivre.

And don’t think dog’s games have to be complicated.  Believe it or not, he’ll love playing even a simple game of fetch every now and then, no doubt about it.  And if you’ve got a frisbee, that can be even more fun.  But no need to stop there; you can find plenty of other dog’s games to play with four legged friend.  Dogs love all sorts of games, and taking the time to play them with him can mean the difference between a listless dog and a happy one.
