Dogs love human contact, and they enjoy interaction. Add to this the fact that they (and
most of the time, us lazy grownups too) need some exercise from time to time, and you can
see why playing fun dog games could be fun for more than just the dog. Take note that since
a dog’s lifespan is one seventh of that of a human, their perception of periods between
times you show them affection, or play with them, is “much longer” than your perception of

Most kids go through a phase when they want to “dress up” as a grownup. You can probably remember times you have done so yourself, or have seen your kids doing it. For many kids, however, it doesn’t end there. The “game” expands to involve doll, friends, and , eventually, the dog. For some pet owners, getting their pets to tolerate each other is a mission in itself. There are, however, many instances where the cat and dog has learned to co-exist peacefully, and even became friends. This happens easily if the pets grow up together.
